lyrics

Mysteries remain unexplained, as trees remain untoked.
Musicology continues to be lame, as far as -ologies go.
Quantifying emotion in music is a foolish goal.
Andronicology will cover the basics when you need to roll.

A – N – D – R – O – N – IC – OLOGY.
Lights. Music.
A – N – D – R – O – N – IC – OLOGY.
Lights. Music.

No matter how far I go I’ll always be in the cold,
Never feeling the heat, but always bringing the beats
Ideally, I’d rather be chillin’ off the streets
Where I got everything that I need to roll.

I bring forth stories of legends untold.
I got the back in the beat and the kick on the floor.
I listen to everything you heard before
And now I speak the language too so I don’t hate no more.

The segregation of our art is degradating
To the youth who cant choose between Bach or Biggie,
The kids that like 50 but prefer the bird
‘Cause that cat plays the sax like they ain’t ever heard.

I’m a doctor, write prescriptions, no restrictions,
Don’t got a PhD
Everyone’s always asking me what it is I do
I tell them I study musical Andronicology.

A – N – D – R – O – N – IC – OLOGY.
Lights. Music.

No matter the day, just keep making the waves.

A – N – D – R – O – N – IC – OLOGY.
Lights. Music.

[Funky Synth Bass Solo]

As far as I can tell, the world wasnt any better yesterday, Fun Fact, it probably wont be better tomorrow, or the next day for that matter, so I guess it’s just the music that matters

Since the beginning of time, people keep tryna to define, right and wrong, left and right, who gets to die
You want the darkness so I take away the light, you want the change but you want all of your freedom and rights

It’s always been about the fight
Lots of push, lots of shove, lots of talk, but not a lot getting done
Who gets to move forward
Who decides who gets to live for the night
If we could exchange ethics for joints
I’d be good for the night
If I could replace politics with a national anthem
We’d be more unified than voltron after a terrorist strike
If we just tried to listen, and give freedom a go
It’d look more like the country that we wanted 200 years ago
Or Canada -- But that’s not what I’m saying,
I’m saying that if people would just shut the fuck up and quit all the hating
Get off their pedestals, and listen to Khalifa and Dre
they’d write bomb rap songs and smoke weed everyday
If I could nuke the bible belt with sagacity and wisdom
Musicality and understanding could be the new religion
All I ask from you is that you give me a listen
And question the people in the world that tell you different.
